Contraceptives - good or bad?

Perhaps, a strong argument in favor of the OC is that, according to WHO, in different countries of the world, where the choice of contraception is extremely wide, where barrier or intrauterine devices are not a deficit, 70 million women are protected from pregnancy under the supervision of a doctor with the help ofOK.In addition, a certain number of women take OK without medical supervision.
The mechanism of action of OK is to suppress ovulation, that is, maturation and release of the egg from the ovary.
Hormonal contraceptives can contribute to the development of malignant neoplasms.
What's behind this? Incompetence, thirst for sensation? Hard to say. But numerous scientific studies of scientists from different countries clearly prove the opposite: breast and genital cancers in women who have been taking oral contraceptives for a long time are much less likely than those who have never used these drugs.
Experts at us and abroad in practice became convinced that the rational use of hormonal drugs for the purpose of contraception at the same time helps in the treatment of dysfunctional uterine bleeding, inflammatory diseases, endometriosis, fibrocystic mastopathy, ovarian cysts and even tumors of the mammary glands and uterus. Does not this tip the scales in favor of OK?
Many are frightened that in the first month or two, when a woman is just starting to take hormonal contraceptives, she often feels unwell. And her sensations resemble the state characteristic of early pregnancy: weakness, drowsiness, excessive emotionality, some weight gain. All symptoms are not pronounced and gradually disappear. But believe me, the troubles that the OC deliver are not comparable with the complications and troubles that may be the consequences of abortion.
All this, of course, does not mean that OK can be accepted by absolutely everyone. With hormonal tumors of acute diseases of the liver, gallbladder and kidneys, blood vessels, with blood clotting disorders, hormonal contraceptives are contraindicated categorically. With great care, doctors prescribe them with epilepsy, chronic liver and bile duct disease, thrombophlebitis, tuberculosis, migraine, chronic pyelonephritis in remission.
All hormonal contraceptives are tested. Therefore, I would like to briefly talk about the features of some of the most popular OK, give additional guidance to those who will have the choice or the opportunity to bring some money from abroad. Our country, as is known, does not produce these contraceptives. For a long time they were imported from Hungary. Later, there were also purchased in the Netherlands, the United States and other countries - a total of 47 million packs of various drugs. Many of them are not yet known to our women.
