Soup with dumplings - a recipe that everyone knows
There are many recipes for cooking first courses. A popular dish is the soup with dumplings. His recipe came to us from the Ukrainian chefs. This is, without a doubt, a favorite soup, the taste of which is familiar to everyone since childhood, as it was prepared for lunch by mom or grandmother. The food is very simple to prepare, even the most inexperienced hostess can handle it.
Chicken soup with dumplings: cook the base
Chicken broth must be prepared in advance so that you can always quickly cook the soup. You can cook it as follows: Boil a piece of chicken (250 g) in a liter of water. Soup with dumplings, the recipe of which we describe below, is cooked very quickly if you have all the necessary ingredients on hand. We now turn directly to the cooking.

So, how to cook soup with dumplings? You will need:
- Chicken broth - two liters.
- Onion - one piece.
- Potatoes - 3 medium tubers.
- Chicken Egg - 1 pc.
- Water or milk - 3 tablespoons.
- Flour - 5 tbsp. spoons.
- Salt, spices and herbs.

Pour the broth into the pan and set on fire. Chop onion finely, set aside a few pieces. Heat vegetable oil in a pan, put 1 tablespoon of flour in it, when it turns yellow, add onion to flour. We continue to fry it until golden brown. At the end, add a piece of butter, which will give the soup a unique taste and a touch of piquancy. We clean the potatoes, chop finely and add it to the broth, also put the peeled onion pieces there. Next, we proceed to the preparation of the dumplings themselves.
Chicken egg must be whipped with a pinch of salt, add milk and the remaining flour. Knead the dough. If you see that the flour is small, then you need to pour more. The dough should make a thick consistency.
Connect the dumplings and the base
When the potatoes are ready, add the dough to the broth. You can do this in different ways: take a teaspoon dipped in water, fill it with dough, and put it in another pan with a spoon. The second way is to take the dough into the hands, pre-greased with vegetable oil, then pinch and lower its small pieces into the pan.When the dough is over, and all the dumplings are ready, you need to prevent the dish, salt it, add spices to taste and sauté. Cover the soup with a lid. After a while, the dumplings will float up and begin to boil. You can immediately add parsley and dill, cover again and after 4 minutes remove the pan from the heat. When the soup has cooled, you can serve it on the table.
There is also another recipe for cooking dumplings. You can make the dough on kefir with the addition of soda. You will need 1 chicken egg, three tablespoons of kefir, salt, half a teaspoon of soda, 7 tablespoons of flour.
In general, you can cook this wonderful soup on any broth, just on chicken it turns out to be especially tender and rich. In addition, it is very light, but at the same time nutritious. The dish is a success in the morning after a heavy feast. If desired, you can add mushrooms, beans. Experiment - and create your own soup with dumplings!
